Why coffee

The smell of a slow morning, for the shower.

Velvet Roast started from a simple idea: the comfort of a good cup of coffee shouldn't stay in the kitchen. Real grounds give it grip and a deep, roasted aroma; fine sugar keeps it gentle enough to enjoy.

Fractionated coconut oil softens the whole thing into something closer to velvet than sand, and a little polysorbate 80 helps it rinse clean rather than leaving the tub slick with oil.

It's a small comfort, not a treatment. We make no promises beyond that — just a jar that feels good to use.

What's inside

Five ingredients, named plainly.

    Fine white sugar

    The scrub itself — small, even crystals that soften as they work.

  2. 02

    Real ground coffee

    Texture and that unmistakable roasted aroma.

  3. 03

    Fractionated coconut oil

    A lightweight carrier oil that binds the sugar and leaves skin feeling soft.

  4. 04

    Polysorbate 80

    Helps the oil rinse away with water instead of sitting on the skin.

  5. 05

    Cosmetic preservative

    Keeps the jar fresh. Please refer to the final label for the specific preservative used.

How to use it

  1. 01Scoop a small amount with dry fingers or a spoon — keep water out of the jar.
  2. 02Massage over damp skin in slow circles.
  3. 03Rinse well with warm water.
  4. 04Close the lid tightly and store somewhere cool.
